Description

To help spark public interest in the Psyche Mission, I created a set of collectible cards that explore human evolution—from the mythology behind the asteroid’s name to the technology guiding our discoveries. Designed for young adults, collectors, and kids, the game taps into the resurgence of trading cards as an open-ended storytelling tool. Players select words from each card to craft their own narratives about the mission and its potential planetary core. The accompanying exhibition reflects the past, present, and future of Psyche. Cards are arranged in a circular pattern to represent unity, with a starburst layout radiating from the center to symbolize expanding connection and discovery. At the heart is the asteroid card—acting as the origin point of both the game and the mission. The burst echoes cosmic creation events like the Big Bang, representing how Psyche may offer clues to the birth of planets. The layout draws from sacred geometry to connect myth, science, and our place in the universe.4o
